Sample plan: we could not reach your page from here, so this shows the shape of a Reoptimize rewrite plan, not an audit of this page.
Rankability pricing is $97 a month for Starter, $297 for Agency, and $497 for Agency Pro, with Enterprise quoted after a sales call. Billed yearly, the plans cost $970, $2,970, and $4,970, which is ten months for the price of twelve. Every plan includes unlimited users, unlimited client workspaces, 11 AI platforms, and API and MCP access; the plans differ in monthly allowances, starting at 20 content projects and 100 tracked AI queries on Starter.
Those numbers come from Rankability's own pricing page, checked in October 2026. Many review and coupon sites still quote $99, $199, and $399 credit plans or the older $149 to $449 seat plans, so if a figure you found does not match, it is probably out of date. If you are pricing Rankability because client traffic is sliding on older posts, the last two sections compare the cost per refresh with a tool built only for that job.
How much does Rankability cost?
Rankability sells three self-serve plans and a quoted Enterprise tier. All three self-serve plans include the same features; what changes is how much work you can run each month.
| Plan | Monthly | Billed yearly | Content projects a month | Tracked AI queries | Tracked Google keywords | Support |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $97 | $970 a year | 20 | 100 | 50 | Standard, self-serve setup |
| Agency | $297 | $2,970 a year | 80 | 300 | 150 | Priority, one team onboarding session |
| Agency Pro | $497 | $4,970 a year | 160 | 500 | 250 | Priority, onboarding, a campaign planning session, coaching on annual terms |
| Enterprise | Quote | Quote | Custom | Custom | Custom | Sales-led |
The remaining allowances scale the same way: 250, 750, or 1,250 Google ranking checks a month; 20, 80, or 160 page audit reports; 2, 10, or 25 technical site audits of up to 1,000 pages each; and 10, 30, or 50 Local Pack scans. Every plan tracks the same 11 AI platforms, including ChatGPT, Google AI Mode and AI Overviews, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, Grok, and Copilot, with daily AI tracking and weekly Google ranking updates.
What counts as a content project?
A content project is one completed new page or one refresh of an existing page. It covers the research, brief, outline, an AI draft or revision, optimization guidance, and the export, with two AI revisions included. It is counted when a usable deliverable is saved, and failed jobs or duplicate retries do not use another one.
This is the allowance that decides which plan an agency needs, because it is shared across every client in the account. Unlimited client workspaces do not add capacity. Ten clients on Agency share the same 80 content projects, so each client gets about eight new pages or refreshes a month. Page audit reports have their own allowance and do not use a content project, and none of the allowances roll over.
What one content project costs on each plan
Dividing the price by the content allowance gives the clearest unit cost, since tracking and audits come along on every plan.
| Plan | Per content project, monthly billing | Per content project, yearly billing | Content projects a year |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $4.85 | $4.04 | 240 |
| Agency | $3.71 | $3.09 | 960 |
| Agency Pro | $3.11 | $2.59 | 1,920 |
Those are low numbers for a full brief plus AI draft, which is the honest strength of the pricing. The catch is the ceiling, not the unit price: an agency that wants to refresh 100 old client posts a month and still ship 40 new articles needs 140 content projects, which means Agency Pro at $497.
Does Rankability have a free trial?
Yes. Monthly plans come with a 7-day trial with limited usage, and a card is required. After seven days the plan you picked starts at its listed price unless you cancel in Billing. Annual plans have no trial, though you can book a demo first. Monthly plans can be cancelled at any time and run to the end of the paid period; annual plans run to the end of the paid year once you turn off renewal. The pricing page does not state a refund policy, so plan your evaluation inside the seven days.
Old Rankability prices you will still see quoted
Rankability has changed its pricing at least twice, and many comparison pages have not caught up.
- Seat-based plans. Older listings show SEO Specialist at $149, SEO Expert at $249, and SEO Master at $449 a month, priced by user seats.
- Credit plans. Listings from 2026 show Starter at $99, Growth at $199, and Scale at $399 a month with a shared monthly credit pool, plus a $799 Agency tier on some trackers.
- Current plans. Starter $97, Agency $297, Agency Pro $497 with fixed allowances, which is what the vendor page shows today.
Existing customers keep their legacy pricing while the subscription stays active, so a colleague at another agency may genuinely pay a different number. For a new account, only the current page counts.
Which Rankability plan fits your team?
- Starter, $97. A freelancer or a single in-house site doing about one new page or refresh per working day. 50 tracked keywords is tight for anyone with clients.
- Agency, $297. A small agency with four to eight retainer clients, each getting around ten pieces of content a month, and AI visibility reporting as part of the retainer.
- Agency Pro, $497. Larger agencies with heavy monthly content volume, or teams that want the coaching that comes with the annual plan.
- Enterprise. Crawls beyond 1,000 pages per audit or more tracking and content capacity than Agency Pro offers.
Is Rankability worth the price?
Rankability is worth the price for agencies that sell content production and AI search visibility together. Unlimited seats and clients, 11 AI platforms, branded reports, and an API for $297 a month is a strong bundle next to suites like Search Atlas or writing tools like Surfer SEO, whose page tracking stops at 200 to 500 pages.
It is a weaker buy when the problem is a large published library losing clicks. Rankability counts work, so every refreshed page spends one of a fixed number of content projects, and a 1,000-page technical audit is the largest single crawl on a self-serve plan. Nothing in the plan watches every page in the archive each month and tells you which 30 to fix first.
Rankability cost next to Reoptimize for refreshing old content
Take a US agency with six clients, 1,800 published pages between them, and two strategists who refresh about 60 older posts a month while clients' new content runs elsewhere.
| Rankability Agency | Reoptimize Pro | Reoptimize Agency | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Price billed yearly | $2,970 a year | $1,068 a year ($89 a month) | $2,868 a year ($239 a month) |
| Monthly refresh capacity | 80 content projects, shared with new content | 150 rewrite plans | 600 rewrite plans |
| Pages watched for decay every month | Not a plan unit; audits of up to 1,000 pages, 10 a month | 1,000 monitored pages | 5,000 monitored pages, multi-site |
| What you get per page | Brief, AI draft or revision, optimization guidance | A ranked list by clicks lost and a rewrite plan: title and meta, missing subtopics, heading order, internal links, schema, stale facts | Same, plus client workspaces and report exports |
| Also included | AI visibility on 11 platforms, rank tracking, outreach research | Decay monitor, briefs export, Search Console connection | Everything in Pro, 15 seats |
The two tools solve different halves of the job. Rankability writes and tracks; Reoptimize decides which published pages are slipping and what each one needs, then hands your writers a plan. If your team has the plans but not the writing hours, you can hire freelance writers for the execution and still keep the cost per refreshed page well under an agency rate.

Rankability pricing FAQ
How much is Rankability per month?
Rankability costs $97 a month on Starter, $297 on Agency, and $497 on Agency Pro when billed monthly. Billed yearly, the same plans cost $970, $2,970, and $4,970, which works out to about $81, $248, and $414 a month. Enterprise is priced by quote after a sales call.
Does Rankability charge per user or per client?
No. Every paid plan includes unlimited team members and unlimited client workspaces. What you pay for is capacity: content projects, tracked AI queries, Google keywords, audits, and Local Pack scans each have a monthly allowance shared across all clients, and those allowances reset every billing month without rollover.
Is there a cheaper alternative to Rankability?
Yes, if you only need one part of it. NeuronWriter starts at $19 a month billed yearly for content scoring, Frase at $39 for briefs and drafts, and Reoptimize at $29 billed yearly for monitoring published pages and writing rewrite plans, with Pro at $89 for 1,000 pages. For content refresh work in particular, our content refresh tool comparison lays out the options.
