Sample plan: we could not reach your page from here, so this shows the shape of a Reoptimize rewrite plan, not an audit of this page.
Botify pricing is quote-only: the vendor lists no prices and asks you to request a demo. Contract data from Vendr puts the median Botify deal at about $74,200 a year, with most contracts between $48,000 and $150,000. Smaller deployments of up to about 250,000 URLs typically land between $30,000 and $60,000 a year, and sites past 1 million URLs pay $150,000 to $400,000 or more.
The number of URLs Botify crawls is the main thing that moves the quote. The rest of this page covers the other cost drivers, the contract terms buyers report, how Botify compares with other enterprise SEO platforms, and what to buy instead if the problem you are really trying to solve is content that has stopped ranking.
How much does Botify cost?
Botify's pricing page shows a demo request, not a price list, and directories such as G2 say its editions are priced directly by the vendor. The best public numbers come from purchase data and buyer reports.
| Deployment size | Typical annual cost | Typical discount off first quote |
|---|---|---|
| Up to about 250,000 URLs | $30,000 to $60,000 | 10 to 20% |
| 250,000 to 1 million URLs | $75,000 to $150,000 | 15 to 25% |
| 1 million URLs and up | $150,000 to $400,000+ | 20 to 35% |
| Median across purchases | About $74,200 | Range $48,000 to $150,000 |
Source for the table is Vendr's marketplace data for Botify. Other published estimates line up: one 2026 pricing guide puts custom plans from about $75,000 a year and $75,000 to $150,000 for a mid-sized deployment. You will also find a much lower figure, about $14,000 a year, in an old Reddit thread from 2018. That predates Botify's current product line and should not be used as a benchmark today.
What drives a Botify quote
Botify is a platform of modules rather than one tool. Its site lists SiteCrawler for website analytics, RealKeywords for keyword analytics, Log Analyzer for bot and AI agent analytics, ActionBoard for prioritized actions, AlertPanel for alerts, plus an activation layer with PageWorkers for automated deployment, SmartContent, SmartIndex, SmartLink for internal linking, and SpeedWorkers for bot management. Newer AI Visibility and AI Readiness products sit on top. What you license decides the price.
- URLs crawled. The main factor. Contracts are banded by URL volume, and overage fees apply if you crawl beyond the band, so buyers negotiate a soft cap of 10 to 15%.
- Log file volume. Log analysis is a core reason teams buy Botify, and heavy log volumes add cost.
- Modules. Analytics alone costs less than analytics plus the activation products that push changes to the site.
- Term length. Twelve months is standard; 24 and 36 month terms are common and bring the annual price down.
- Services and support. Onboarding, professional services, and higher support tiers are priced on top.
Botify contract terms to check before you sign
The contract matters almost as much as the headline number. Buyer data describes a fairly standard enterprise shape:
- Payment. Annual upfront is typical.
- Auto-renewal. Contracts usually renew automatically, with a notice window of 30 to 90 days. Put the notice date in whatever contract management software or calendar your procurement team uses, because missing it locks in another year.
- Renewal increases. Annual increases of 5 to 10% are common unless you cap them in writing.
- Negotiation room. Multi-year commitments bring annual pricing down 15 to 30%, a credible competing quote adds 10 to 25%, and quarter-end timing can add 10 to 20%. Combined, buyers report 25 to 35% off initial proposals.
- Hidden costs. URL and log overages, modules added mid-contract, and professional services are the usual surprises.
Is Botify worth it?
Botify is worth it for very large sites where crawling, rendering, and indexation are the real problems: ecommerce catalogs with hundreds of thousands of product and category URLs, marketplaces, and publishers with deep archives. Log analysis shows which URLs Googlebot and AI crawlers actually visit, and the activation products can push fixes such as internal links or meta changes at a scale no team could do by hand. For a site with that profile, a $75,000 contract can pay for itself by getting a few thousand money pages indexed.
It is harder to justify when the site has a few thousand pages and the traffic loss is in content that used to rank. Crawl data will tell you those pages are indexed and healthy. It will not tell you that a competitor added three subtopics, that your title no longer matches intent, or that the facts are two years old. That is a content problem, and it is a much cheaper one to solve.
Botify vs other enterprise SEO platforms on price
| Platform | Published price | Buyer-reported cost | Built around |
|---|---|---|---|
| Botify | Quote only | Median about $74,200 a year | Crawling, log analysis, indexation, automated deployment |
| BrightEdge | Quote only | Median about $50,000 a year | Enterprise SEO suite, content and reporting |
| Conductor | Quote only, usage based | Median about $49,020 a year | Content and SEO platform with website monitoring |
| seoClarity | From $2,500 a month for Research and Content | Median about $33,969 a year | Rank data, research, technical SEO |
| Reoptimize | $49, $149, $399 a month billed yearly | $1,788 a year for Pro | Monitoring published pages and writing a rewrite plan for each |
Botify is the most expensive of the four enterprise platforms on median contract value, which fits its focus on very large sites. BrightEdge and Conductor put more weight on content workflows and reporting; seoClarity sits lower and publishes starting prices.
What a 3,000-page B2B site pays per year
Take a US B2B software company with about 3,000 indexable URLs: 900 blog posts, 400 docs pages, and the rest product, integration, and comparison pages. Organic demo requests fell 20% in a year. The SEO lead has a Botify quote in hand.
- Botify, small deployment. At the bottom band, about $30,000 to $60,000 a year, before services and overages, on a 12 month auto-renewing term. It would confirm that the site is crawlable and indexed, map where Googlebot spends its time, and flag technical issues. For a 3,000-page site that is already technically clean, much of that capacity goes unused.
- Reoptimize Agency. $399 a month billed yearly, or $4,788 a year, monitors 5,000 pages. Reoptimize Pro at $1,788 a year covers 1,000 pages, enough for the 900 blog posts. Either one ranks the pages losing clicks and writes a plan for each: title and meta, missing subtopics, heading order, internal links, schema, and stale facts.
The honest reading: if a technical audit shows crawl waste, rendering problems, or large sections not indexed, Botify or a similar crawler is the right purchase and content tools will not fix it. If the site is healthy and the drop sits in posts that ranked a year ago, spending $30,000 or more on crawl data answers the wrong question. Start with the content, which is what the content decay checker is for.
Cheaper alternatives to Botify
Match the tool to the part of Botify you would actually use.
- Crawling and inventory. Screaming Frog SEO Spider is free up to 500 URLs and about 245 EUR a year for the paid licence, with log file analysis sold as a separate tool.
- Suite with rank tracking and site audits. Semrush starts at $139.95 a month and Search Atlas at $79 a month billed yearly.
- Refreshing content that lost rankings. Reoptimize monitors 100, 1,000, or 5,000 published pages for $49, $149, or $399 a month billed yearly, ranks the ones losing clicks, and writes the rewrite plan. The content refresh tool page shows what a plan contains.

Does Botify offer a free trial?
Botify does not advertise a self-serve free trial. The site offers a demo request, and pricing, modules, and any pilot terms are agreed with sales. If you want to test on your own data, ask for a pilot scoped to one section of the site and a defined success metric before you commit to an annual contract.
