Sample plan: we could not reach your page from here, so this shows the shape of a Reoptimize rewrite plan, not an audit of this page.

NeuronWriter is the best value content editor for freelancers and small teams who write new articles every week: for $19 to $97 a month billed yearly you get a SERP-based content score, NLP term suggestions, and AI drafting that cost three to five times more elsewhere. It is a weaker fit for teams whose main problem is a large published library losing traffic, because its unit of work is one content analysis at a time, capped at 25 to 150 a month.

We checked every plan and limit below on NeuronWriter's own pricing page. Prices are in US dollars, the yearly price is shown per month, and all five plans include a 30-day refund window on your first purchase.

NeuronWriter pricing: every plan and limit

NeuronWriter sells five plans. The differences are projects, monthly content analyses, AI credits, plagiarism checks, and whether integrations and team members are included.

PlanPer month, billed yearlyBilled monthlyProjectsContent analyses / monthAI credits / monthIntegrations and team
Bronze$19 ($228 a year)$2322515,000None
Silver$37 ($444 a year)$4555030,000None
Gold$57 ($684 a year)$69107545,000GSC, WordPress, Shopify; unlimited team members; 75 plagiarism checks
Platinum$77 ($924 a year)$932510060,000Same as Gold; 100 plagiarism checks
Diamond$97 ($1,164 a year)$1175015075,000Same as Gold; 150 plagiarism checks

Gold is the plan most teams should compare against competitors. Bronze and Silver leave out the Search Console and CMS integrations and team access, so they work for a solo writer and not much else. The Content Designer feature also starts on Gold. An AI Monitoring add-on appears on the pricing page for tracking brand questions across more AI models; check its cost at checkout, because the page does not state a clear price for it.

Is NeuronWriter free?

NeuronWriter is not free, but you can test it free for 7 days. After you create an account, the trial runs under Gold plan terms, so you see the integrations and the full editor. On top of that, NeuronWriter lets you request a refund for the first plan you buy within 30 days, which is one of the more generous refund policies in this category.

What is NeuronWriter used for?

NeuronWriter is used to write and optimize individual articles against the pages that currently rank on Google. You enter a keyword, it analyzes the top results, and it returns a content score, the terms and entities to include, the headings and questions competitors cover, and an AI writer that drafts sections inside the same editor. The typical user is an affiliate site owner, a freelance SEO writer, or a small agency producing a steady flow of new posts.

That focus is also the limit. Every page you want to score, new or old, uses one content analysis. A blog with 400 published posts cannot run all of them through Bronze or Silver in a month, and even Diamond's 150 analyses cover well under half. NeuronWriter does not tell you which of those 400 posts is losing traffic first; you choose, then analyze.

What NeuronWriter does well

Price. Gold at $57 a month billed yearly gives a team unlimited members, integrations, and 75 analyses. The closest Surfer tier with multiple seats is Standard at $99 a month billed yearly, and Clearscope starts at $129 a month.

Competitor detail. The editor shows what the top pages include, including their headings and the questions they answer, which helps a writer plan structure before drafting. It only reflects the moment you run the analysis, though. If you also need an alert when a rival rewrites a page or changes its offer, that is a job for a competitor monitoring tool rather than a content editor.

Flexible projects. Projects scale from 2 to 50, which suits agencies managing many small client sites.

Where NeuronWriter falls short

AI drafts need a real edit. Independent reviews and Reddit threads on NeuronWriter say the same thing: the suggestions are useful, and the AI output needs manual verification before it goes live. Budget editing time, not just credits.

No integrations below Gold. Without Search Console, NeuronWriter cannot see which of your pages are slipping, so Bronze and Silver users do that detective work by hand.

No library view. There is no ranking of your published pages by traffic lost, and no per-page work order for a refresh. It scores the page you open.

Is NeuronWriter worth it?

NeuronWriter is worth it if you publish new articles every week and want a SERP-based content score for the lowest price in the category. On Gold, a small team gets integrations and unlimited members for $684 a year. It is less worth it if your traffic is falling across hundreds of existing pages, because you will spend your analyses guessing which pages to open and still need a plan for what to change on each.

A quick test: count how many pages you published last quarter and how many existing pages lost more than 20 percent of clicks in Search Console over the same period. If the first number is bigger, a writing tool like NeuronWriter fits your work. If the second is bigger, you have a maintenance problem, and our guide to the best content optimization tools ranks the options by that job.

When to pick Reoptimize instead

Reoptimize is for the second situation above: a library of published pages where traffic is sliding. Import a sitemap and it monitors every page, ranks the declining ones by traffic at stake, and turns each into a rewrite plan covering the title and meta, the subtopics the ranking pages cover and yours skips, heading order, internal links to add, schema, and stale facts. Starter is $49 a month billed yearly for 100 pages and 20 plans; Pro is $149 for 1,000 pages, 150 plans, and 5 seats.

Plenty of teams run both: NeuronWriter for new drafts, and a content refresh tool for the archive. Paste one of your declining URLs into the analyzer at the top of this page to see a plan before you decide, or compare plans on the pricing page.

NeuronWriter review FAQ

How much does NeuronWriter cost?

NeuronWriter costs $19 to $97 a month billed yearly, or $23 to $117 billed monthly. Bronze ($19) includes 2 projects and 25 content analyses a month; Gold ($57) adds integrations and unlimited team members with 75 analyses; Diamond ($97) includes 50 projects and 150 analyses.

Does NeuronWriter have a free trial?

Yes. After you create an account you can use NeuronWriter free for 7 days under Gold plan terms. NeuronWriter also allows a refund request for the first plan purchased on an account within 30 days.

Is NeuronWriter better than Surfer SEO?

NeuronWriter is cheaper and gives small teams more for the money, especially unlimited team members from Gold. Surfer has the more widely used editor, page tracking from 10 to 500 pages, and content audits on every plan. Pick NeuronWriter on budget, Surfer if tracking published pages matters.

Is NeuronWriter good for agencies?

For agencies writing new content for many small clients, yes: Platinum and Diamond offer 25 and 50 projects with unlimited members. For agencies selling content maintenance on large client libraries, the monthly analysis cap and the lack of a decay view make it a partial tool at best.
